Historical Tribute to Exotic Lingerie

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Want to know why we think of certain lingerie as exotic? The idea of lingerie and what has made it what it is today can be traced through several centuries of history. Through the history of exotic lingerie, women have not necessarily changed the focus of what lingerie should do for them, but instead, have focused on the best way to expose what they want and hide what they don’t want. For those interested in knowing why lingerie is like it is today, they can look into how it was.

The first style of lingerie has been traced back to ancient Rome and Greece. This type of lingerie was seen as a corset. However, the corset was used only to push up the women’s breasts so that they could be seen outside of their dresses completely. After this particular stage of lingerie faded out as a fashion, lingerie became a focus of support.

The two main areas that lingerie focused on for support is the bust and the buttocks. The silhouette was one of the fashions that were used in order to expose both of these areas to the fullest by adding support. Corsets and bells were used to define and bring out these specific areas of a woman’s figure, especially during the Middle Ages. The evolution of this continued into the Renaissance, where things such as padded silhouettes for support and cones to shape the breasts came into style. It was during this time that the corset became popular to make the abdomen flat and the busts big. Women began to use whale bone in order to make the corset tighter around their abdomen. This was to the point of breaking ribs in their body.

It wasn’t until the eighteenth century that the flattery of the corset became something that wasn’t as harsh to a woman’s body. Instead of focusing on the corset for breasts, exotic lingerie began to focus on hoops that would go over the waist in order to make it smaller. The S-silhouette also came into play, which allowed women to have an exaggerated buttocks, small waist and large breasts.

The end of the nineteenth century divided exotic lingerie into two categories. One held corsets in order to support the figure of the breasts while stockings, held up by garters and suspenders helped to create a different look for the buttocks. It was the beginning of the twentieth century when industrialization became more popular that corsets began to go completely out of style. In 1913, the first bra was invented by Mary Phelps Jacob by tying two handkerchiefs together with a string. This was softer and more comfortable than a corset and allowed for women to be comfortable while working in factories.

The Roaring Twenties twisted the entire figure of women, moving to an attractive look by having a flat chest and straight hips. Chemise and bloomers were invented in order to stay light and loose-fitting on women, allowing them to look small and flat. However, it was only one decade later that the figure was back in style. In the 1930s, the first form of elastic was also invented, making it easier for women to keep a sexier look with exotic lingerie, while not having to suffer from things such as tight fitting corsets.

In the 1970s, women began to wear less and expose more. The mini-skirts were a popular way to do this. It was with this change in fashion that it was also required to change what women were wearing underneath, which pulled for the invention of the bikini strap underwear, and eventually led to the wearing of thongs. Today, lingerie is a popular and comfortable way of achieving the look that is desired with the breasts and the buttocks. New inventions and ways for the right support are continuously coming into style to help women achieve the best look.

From corsets to thongs, under garments for the looks have developed and evolved for the benefit of both men and women. Knowing where lingerie has come from and what it has allowed women to expose through their bodies allows you to find what you want when learning how to shape your body with lingerie.

Case Study: How Article Marketing Is Significantly Increasing My Income (Part 2 of 5)

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Following are the latest details on my experiment - article marketing (does it work, or not?)

Listed below are more of the sites I’m consistently submitting articles to. See Part I of this series for how and why these sites were chosen.

6. Alumbo.com: This site has a PR rank of 5 and an Alexa rank of 64,317.

You must sign up for an account to submit here. I find their submission process awkward and a bit confusing. Eg, you have to choose what category to submit to, and this not easy they way they have it set up because you’re not sure if you’re choosing the right thing based on the way they have it set up.

Also, no article stats are provided here - not even a page that lists the articles you’ve submitted. Without this, it makes it hard to keep track of what you’ve submitted already. In my opinion, this is a basic because if you write a lot and submit to a lot of directories, you need some type of tracking mechanism to stay organized.

NOTE: In most of the directories, you have to choose a category, but it is pretty simple and straightforward. This is not the case with Alumbo. You’ll just have to see for yourself what I mean.

7. ArticleCity.com: This site has a PR rank of 6 and an Alexa rank of 6,630.

You don’t need to create an author account to submit here. The process is very easy and straightforward. No article stats are provided though (bummer!).

You can click on your name and find out which articles are live on the site, but there is no way to find out which articles you’ve submitted already. This is important because they take up to 15 days to approve an article for publishing, and if you don’t keep track, you won’t know if you submitted a piece already, or not.

One cool feature of this site is that you can submit articles in bulk (more than one at a time). There are stipulations, but being able to do this makes submission so much faster.

8. Zinos.com: This site has a PR rank of 6 and an Alexa rank of 6,630.

Zinos is not an article directory, but a digest of eZines on the web. You must create an author account to submit and provide a list of articles you’ve submitted, but no article stats.

The one thing I don’t like about this site is they assign you an Author ID, which you must use to sign in. I don’t like this because most of the time, once you’ve created your account with a directory, your username is your email address and your password is something you create.

As they assign you an Author ID, I can never remember it, so have to stop, locate it and put it in. It’s a small thing, but it interrupts my flow of work. When you’re manually submitting to many directories, this is a major time buster.

9. WebProNews.com: This site has a PR rank of 7 and an Alexa rank of 3,980.

This is a news site for e-business professionals. Although this is not an article directory site, I had written an article that fits well with their content and I knew it had a good chance of being picked up.

FYI, this site only accepts articles related to “eBusiness, search engines, information technology, or web development.” So, I haven’t submitted every article I’ve written to them, because all of my articles don’t fit their guidelines.

Tip: To dovetail on the above, only submit relevant content to directories/sites. The one thing you don’t want to do is get banned from a site for submitting content that doesn’t fit their guidelines and/or submitting poorly written pieces.

Most article directories have sufficient categories that you will easily be able to find one that fits your materials. If a site is not an article directory, then look for guidelines that tell you what they do accept.

10. Buzzle.com: This directory has a PR rank of 6 and an Alexa rank of 5,835.

You must create an author account - then wait. With most directories, once you create an author account, you are able to log in instantly, after clicking on a confirmation email that they send to you.

With this site, you have to wait to be approved - it only took a few days, but compared to other sites, it’s a little hitch that makes you go “rats!”. Worth the wait though with their rank and all.

This directory provides limited article stats and it’s easy to submit once your account has been approved.

Questions from Readers

Q: Are you posting the same article to each of these different directories?

A: Yes. This is how article marketing is done.

Is this seen as spamming? To be honest, I don’t know. All I can say is many times I have found one of my articles in a directory that I did not post to. I can only assume that some directories pull from others.

Q: Are you posting to each directory every day?

A: Yes, which makes it so time-consuming. Many of the directories are similar, but some allow HTML, while others do not. So, I create an HTML-coded version of the article, and a plain text version. Then, I simply copy the version the directory accepts into the box.

How the Money Shaking Out?

Right now, running about 2.5 times/day what I was making before I started this experiment. FYI, I’m doing a day-to-day comparison (eg, Sept 30th to October 30th earnings). At the end of the experiment (11/18/06), I will compare 10/18 thru 11/18 to 9/18 to 10/17 for this year and for last year.

Building Your Brand - Getting Name Recognition

Before I started this experiment, when I typed my name into Google, the count came back at between 700 to 800. Yesterday, I googled my name and the count came in at 11,200! Last Friday (10/27), my name returned 14,200 results.

Why is this important? Simply put, the more visible you are, the more credibility you build. Remember, most prospects have to see your ad 78-28 times (depending on the source you cite) before they will buy from you.

So, while this may not lead to direct sales, when a prospect is looking for what I’m selling (my ebooks if I can ever find time to get them onto ClickBank.com), my name will hopefully be top of mind (at least in the top 3).

Stay tuned for Part III.

Handy Ebooks That Can Make You Money Working From Home

Friday, February 29th, 2008

I was once where you are trying to figure out how to create an income online, but not knowing where to start. I spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on every type of money making system out there. Funny thing is not one of them worked for me. Then one day I came up with a secret idea to make money online. After I started making money online with one of my ideas I put a few more into place and started creating multiple steams of income at home from my computer.

The crazy thing is I now make more in one week than a school teacher makes working for an entire year. I can remember not too long ago when I was 3 payments behind on my mortgage and 2 payments behind on my old car. I hardly had enough money to buy a hamburger at McDonalds. Life is so much different now that I am making money on the Internet. I am going to share my secret system with you so you can start making money online and living the way you want to live, not just the way you have to.

I have found a proven money making system anyone can use. You don’t need any special computer knowledge. You don’t have to know how to build a website, and you don’t have to be a marketing guru. So what do you need? All you need to do is follow a few simple steps and you are on your way to making a small fortune online. This system is unlike anything you have ever seen before. You now have the opportunity to start making a full time income online working just a few hours per week from your computer.

With my system you will be able to create multiple streams of income in a matter of a few hours. I provide you with everything you need to start making money online. I will reveal to you my most powerful secrets for making a fortune online. Not only that I will give you a step by step guide on how to get up and running right away so you can start making money today. For a limited time I am also going to give you a FREE money making website. This website is already setup to make you money, all you need to do is activate it and you will have cash rolling in immediately.

A few insiders who currently use my secret system have reported incomes between $10,000 and over $100,000 per month. My system is proven to work not only for me but also for the insiders who currently are using it. You can start seeing the same kind of results all you have to do is get started today.

First let me tell you I am not an Internet guru by any means, I am an average person who found a way to make a fortune using the internet. I am now sharing my secret system with you. I grew up in a lower middle class family where my parents always fought about not having enough money. I knew this was not the way to live and there was a better life out there. So I set out to make my first million, after trying one business after another and failing at everything I tried. Not to mention getting my self in debt way over my head. I decided enough was enough. So I gave up for a short time and worked my 60 hour weeks. Notice I said 60 hour weeks and not 40, well I had piles of debt from trying to start a business so I worked all the overtime I could get my hands on just to try to get my self out of debt.

One day while I was working I came up with an idea on how I can make money on the Internet. I went home and turned on my computer and decided to explore the online world. I got so excited from the ideas I had I decided to use one of my sick days and call off work the following day. I stayed up all night working on putting together this system to make money online finally at 4 in the morning it was up and running, and I went to bed. I went out for breakfast in the morning with a friend and when I returned home I turned on my computer and got online. I could not believe my eyes!!! I made $112 while I was sleeping and while I was having breakfast with my friend. This was as much money as I would earn working all day at my full time job.

So needless to say I was able to quit my job one month later because I had made over $16,000 in my first 30 days. I have perfected my system and now I make over $100,000 every month. Keep in mind that I only work for two hours per day. Some days I don’t even do anything yet I make thousands of dollars every day. The best part is you can start using my secret money making system and seeing the same type of results right away.

The Common Myths of Photoshop

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Adobe Photoshop, the top choice for digital darkroom use, can be a complicated program to use. Many options and possibilities, some of them completely unexplained, make Photoshop as once mysterious, intriguing, and downright difficult to use. Photoshop enjoys a lot of buzz on the Internet, and there are plenty of myths associated with the program. Get to the bottom of these Photoshop Myths.

Photoshop tips, photoshop tutorials, and photoshops myths abound on the Internet, many of them not at all helpful. Some photoshop tutorials only make using Adobe photoshop more impossible. How do you separate the photoshop myths, tips, and tutorials to come up with a great picture of what photoshop really is? First, you have to start debunking the most common and popular photoshop myths.

One popular photoshop myth is that you cannot get a quality print from a jpeg image unless the final output image resolution is a multiple of printer resolution. This is untrue. Another popular and oft-touted myth is that a printer resolution of 300 ppi is superior to resolution of 240 ppi. While this myth is true, it’s really a nonissue that photoshop tutorials throw in to confuse users. Some tutorials even claim that every image should receive 16-bit treatment - which is an unnecessary waste of time.

Of all the photoshop tips available on these tutorials, one holds more importance than others. When working with Adobe photoshop, it is essential to use layers and masks. You cannot use photoshop to its fullest without taking advantage of adjustment layers and masks that will give your photos that perfect, polished look. Not mentioned often in photoshop tutorials or in photoshop tips list is that you should only fix one problem at a time instead of trying to take care of several at once. By working on each problem in a step-by-step basis, you will get much better results from photoshop - and your pictures will be the proof of your effort.

While there are some photoshop tutorials that will only confuse you and make using photoshop seem like an impossible goal, there are many helpful tutorials and photoshop tips available online for those who want to learn more. Several books have been written that discuss the uses of photoshop much more in-depth for those that need longer explanation and more photoshop tips than the average digital photographer.

Adobe photoshop is actually a program that can be used by anyone who wants to make downloaded images or digital photos look more professional, or add borders and stylistic changes to their photos - not just those who understand complicated computer jargon and know how to wade through the mess of available photoshop tips and tutorials. Start out slow and do some experimenting and playing around with your images. The more you use Adobe photoshop, the more comfortable with photoshop you’ll be. Soon, you’ll be able to do anything to your photos - you might even write your own photoshop tutorial for the web. Playing around and experimenting with photoshop may go against the photoshop myths that say you should study first and take a photoshop tutorial before you begin using the program, but it’s much more fun to learn on your own and usually more beneficial in the end. The more you learn on your own, the more information about photoshop you will retain. Going through a tutorial isn’t the same photoshop you will retain. Going through a tutorial isn’t the same as learning on your own, so it’s always best to experiment with photoshop on your own no matter how many photoshop tutorials you read. In spite of the photoshop myths, you really will learn much better on your own what techniques and tricks to use when working with Adobe photoshop.

Whether you’re working in color or black and white, don’t be afraid to use different layers, tools, and masks to fix one problem or make one embellishment at a time. The good thing about photoshop is that your picture possibilities are almost endless, and there is almost no limit to what you can do. Whether you’re an amateur or professional digital photographer, or just want to make some images look better for your web site, there is one photoshop myth that is true: anyone can benefit from using Adobe photoshop, and every picture could always stand a little improvement.

Rat Race Blues for Women Ebook Review

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Are you one of the many people who spends more each month than they earn? Do you wonder how you can get off the merry-go-round of continuous debt that debilitates you and makes your life miserable? If you relate to either of these statements, your salvation may just be at hand. Darlene (Dar) Arechederra’s “Rat Race Blues for Women” details a refreshingly different approach from the usual advice about budgeting that so many other get-out-of-debt books offer.

Dar’s aim is to help you, “… enjoy your life more, put you on the path to cutting back on work hours, or teach you to set yourself up for leaving your job completely.” She does that by stepping readers through a number of strategies for trimming expenditure and paying out your debts in an easy to read, conversational manner.

Her e-book is small, but concise and is based on her experience as one of those who had money managing problems, but who overcame them to move on to a bigger, better future. What worked for her, she infers, will work for you. And because it all makes so much sense and is so easy to implement, I’m sure it will.

Surprisingly, she advises readers to give budgeting the ‘flick’ (my word, not hers!) and shows us how more money is not the solution we all think it is. Instead, she shows us how to trim a bit here and a bit there until it becomes a habit that reduces our expenditure and increases our savings … incremental salvation, or a step-by-step approach rather than the cold turkey approach many books recommend.

Dar steps readers through an income and expenditure statement which is necessary to see where your affairs are at present so you can identify areas where you can make adjustments. This process itself is a good part of our learning experience because often we aren’t aware of where our hard earned money is disappearing.

There were two things that appealed to me most about this title; Dar encourages readers to begin a Life Book with their goals and ideas. These help you to focus on what you want and how to achieve them. Just as a matter of self-discovery, I spent a little time thinking about what I need most from life at present. I opted for continuing good health, without which nothing else is of much use, friends which we all need to enjoy ourselves, and good fun, but I’m closer to the end of my life than I would expect most readers of this title will be. They will be where I was thirty years ago … in debt, earning a low income while raising two children, so their needs will likely include much to do with money. Of course, this is the target audience, not Baby Boomers like me!

The other thing I liked was the insightful case studies Dar included, helping readers live through the lives of Paul and Marcy, middle class Americans. They were incredibly realistic and the people involved came alive for me. I could see my wife and I in their shoes. One or two of the questions raised during the case study were questions I had pondered very recently, even after 30 years of marriage. You will recognise some aspects of your life or relationship in the case studies also. I promise.

The one thing I’m surprised at is why Dar has written this book just for women. There are just as many men who need help to get their debts under control and win back their lives for whom this title would be of great benefit.

This book is about taking control of your life and winning your financial freedom. It will help you get out of debt, save for a home business, build an online business, and much more. It’s well written and has excellent advice that is different from others I have read about the same topic. If you really want to make a difference in your life, grab a copy now and implement Dar’s recommendations immediately. In the long run, it will be money well invested.

Window Coverings: Offers a Functional and Stylish Look

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Window shades and Venetian blinds are two of the most versatile and functional window coverings that exist today. Both allow you to adjust the level of light that enters your room through multiple methods. Window coverings are a great way to keep the damaging UV rays of the sun from damaging carpet, fabrics, and furniture in your home. Perhaps the most important reason to have window covering in your home however, is the fashion statement they have come to make in recent years.

Most people haven’t really considered the fashion impact that window shades can have on your windows. For quite a few, these are simply inexpensive ways in which to keep the sun out. For this reason, you will often find homes that seem to have no rhyme, reason, or style as far as the window treatments go. Do not allow yourself to be a victim of no style window treatments due to budget restraints or lack of imagination.

If you have a d?cor that is country or rustic avoid shiny window treatments or vinyl that is so common in mini blinds. If you must use blinds then try for wooden blinds rather than the traditional vinyl or plastic looking blinds. However, the best window treatments for rooms such as this are those that include hinged shutters or window shades that are made with bunched fabric.

If your d?cor has a touch of the Orient, then you might be glad to know some of the least expensive window treatments on the market will work wonderfully. Bamboo shades are ideal for this type of d?cor as are blinds made from rice paper. Both of these are rather inexpensive and can greatly enhance the appearance of an oriental room. They also blend well with furniture that is oriental in appearance, particularly teak and rattan.

If you have an Italian Modern d?cor in your home, then Venetian blinds are probably the best possible choice for your window treatments. You may find that the modern look of Venetian blinds is just what the designer had in mind but take care that you do not go overboard and have your room looking institutional rather than modern.

If you’re going for an ultra modern look then brightly colored roll down shades might provide just the right accent for the vinyl or plastic looking furniture associated with this particular look. Venetian blinds blend well with the ultra modern look particularly if you go with some sort of interesting veneer for the blinds that will properly offset the attitude of the room. Good examples of this would be faux leather or colors representing a by gone era such as bright orange or brown.

Of course appearance isn’t everything practicality should play an important role in the decisions you are making as well. For instance, rice paper window treatments aren’t the best idea for bedroom windows as they do very little to keep the light out.

There is really no reason other than a complete and total lack of imagination to have drab window dressings in this day and age. Roll down shades and Venetian blinds can be found in any number of styles and designs that are suitable for almost any d?cor. You can even purchase them in nursery colors if you are so inclined. Leather Venetian blinds offer a creative touch to libraries or home offices and window shades can be purchased to compliment nearly any d?cor or just to identify a particular hobby or passion. Perhaps the most important thing to keep in mind is that today’s window coverings are probably more affordable than ever before while allowing for a great deal of versatility and creativity.

Hidden Advantages To An Online It Degree

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Some people mistakenly assume that a traditional IT program with on-campus classes is somehow more marketable or accepted in the working world. Nothing could be further from the truth. Online educational programs have come a long way in the last ten years and today some of the top schools in the country offer distance education programs through the Internet. In fact, getting an online IT degree can give you some hidden advantages when you actually get out to search for a job.

One hidden advantage of an online IT degree is that it is very job-focused. Many traditional in-classroom degrees are simply not that transferable to the working world. Degrees may take a long time and may focus on theoretical, abstract ideas rather than skills that are readily transferable to an actual job. An online IT educational program, on the other hand, is specifically designed to give you the skills and knowledge you will need in a career. Many faculty members in these degree programs have real-life experience in the field rather than just academic credentials. They really understand the exact skills you need to succeed in the field and are happy to pass these skills onto students. When you complete your program of studies, you will have a number of highly desirable skills that translate seamlessly into a job. With your education, there will be no need to explain how your degree is significant for a job.

Another hidden advantage is that an online IT degree saves you time. There is no superfluous time wasted on abstract theories and less-than-useful subjects. You will not be taking subjects outside of your field simply because they are compulsory. Also, when you enroll in an online IT degree program, you will not have to learn the same things over and over again. Not only might you be able to get credit for courses you have already taken at the college level, but your course of study will also be carefully structured so that you will not be duplicating material. This is one reason why your program may take months rather than many years. At the same time, there will be no social programs and distractions so that you will be able to focus just on getting the degree that will land you an excellent job. It is important to keep in mind that there is no need to feel isolated. Many educational programs hosted online offer plenty of interaction with faculty and other students, so that you can enjoy all the benefits of being part of a learning community.

Students who have already gotten their online IT degree often speak very enthusiastically of their educational experience. That’s because this sort of education has many advantages. If you are shy, for example, being able to learn in a virtual classroom is often much less stressful. Many students find that virtual classrooms are also much more student-friendly. The adults who learn in these environments are often very motivated to study and current technology means that learning is interesting and easily accessible. It is also important to note that online learning can be very discreet. No one has to know that you are studying for a new career unless you choose to make that information public knowledge. If you are not ready to tell your boss or your friends about your career decision, they simply do not have to know.

An online IT degree provides the maximum level of flexibility and quality; two traits that most adult learners demand. If you want to enter the IT field, there is no better way to study than to learn at your own pace in the comfort of your own home.

Book Review: The Garden of Eden and Other Criminal Delights

Friday, February 29th, 2008

“The Garden of Eden and Other Criminal Delights,” by Faye Kellerman, is a collection of mostly crime fiction short stories, each having a brief introduction by the author. Published by Warner Books, ISBN: 978-0-446-53039-2, the book is likely to appeal to readers who enjoy mystery and suspense fiction.

Known for her crime fiction novels featuring L. A. homicide detective Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus, Decker’s Orthodox Jewish wife, Kellerman includes two previously unpublished Decker/Lazarus short stories within her collection. The sleuthing pair is as interesting and complex in “The Garden of Eden” and “Open House” as they are in the novels. Kudos to Faye Kellerman for maintaining Decker and Lazarus’s characterizations in the short stories. The story “Bull’s-Eye” is another short story that features the Decker clan, only this time readers are also introduced to Cindy Decker as she and her father work to solve a case. Again, Kellerman succeeds in keeping Peter Decker true to his fictional self and to readers by maintaining his character of being a concerned, supportive father in “Bull’s-Eye.”

My other favorites among the stories that comprise the collection are “The Stalker,” “Mummy and Jack,” “Bonding,” “Mr. Barton’s Head Case,” and “Holy Water.” While I actually enjoyed all of the crime fiction, these stories stood out for several reasons. The twist at the end of “The Stalker” is one of the best that I have recently read. I enjoyed “Mummy and Jack,” a collaboration between Faye Kellerman and her son, Jesse, for its tone, voice, style, and dark humor. “Bonding” is one of my favorites because of its ending and its hard-boiled edge. “Mr. Barton’s Head Case” entertained me with its cross genre appeal and its well done blend of crime fiction and speculative fiction. “Holy Water” is a favorite because I found it unique and imaginative.

My least favorites of the collection are “Free Parking,” “The Luck of the Draw,” “Small Miracles,” and “The Summer of My Womanhood.” The reason I liked them less was because they were not crime fiction stories. They were all well-written, but they appeared out of place to me in this particular collection. However, the book’s blurb did mention that the collection contained other writing that offered “readers glimpses into Kellerman’s private life.” Still, I would have enjoyed the collection even more if the book had only contained crime fiction short stories.

Overall, I do not regret having bought the book. I like supporting good fiction, especially good short fiction as the short story can sometimes seem like it is becoming a vanishing literary art form. Despite my slight disappointment that the book did not contain a few more crime fiction stories, I think the collection was worth reading, and recommend that readers, particularly those who enjoy short crime fiction, read “The Garden of Eden and Other Criminal Delights.”

How And Where To Meet Eligible Men

So you’re a woman looking for a man… First off, you have to “know” what kind of man you’re looking for, and then go wherever it is you’ll most likely find that kind of man…

What kind of man are you looking for? It’s a new world we live in, and believe it or not, you can find whatever kind of man it is you want! If you’re looking for a husband, a meal ticket, a sugar-daddy, a lover, a father, or a companion - there’s a man out there for you. The problem is, of course, to find the man that has enough of “all the things you want in a man” to satisfy you.

There are lots of eligible men available, and with just a little bit of intelligence, there’s no honest reason why any woman wanting a man cannot find the man of her choice. The thing is, as mentioned already - you’ve got to know what kind of man you want, and where you’ll most likely find him - and then, reach for him.

Men are just like women - they want a woman they can belong to, and call their own. People have to interact with other people in order to maintain a healthy equilibrium; and men have to interact with women on a personal basis in order to go on living. These are undeniable facts relative to the nature of human beings.

Most men have the same kind of shyness, inhibitions, and fears of rejection that women have - the only difference being that the male of our species has been trying to cope with these feelings in regards to meeting women, a lot longer than women have in regard to meeting men. But it’s a new world - there’s a lot more women out looking for men - and a lot of men seem to be caught up in their own problems, and unaware of the eligible women around that might like to become acquainted with them.

Thus, it’s now necessary for a woman to make the first move when she spots a man that interests her and he doesn’t make that first move.

What we’re saying is simply this: Nowadays, whenever and wherever you spot a man that you’d like to get to know, and for whatever reasons, he doesn’t seem to notice you, for sure, you should make that first move towards becoming acquainted. Say you’re at a dance and you spot a man that interests you, by all means don’t be hesitant to walk over and ask him if he’d like to dance with you. Or should you be having coffee somewhere and you spot a special man, simply tell him that you don’t like being alone and would he like to join you.

Really, there’s honestly nothing out-of-line or brazen about spotting a man that interests you, walking up to him, and telling him you find him appealing enough that you’d like to find out more about him. Most men will be flattered by your attentions, and if they are the kind of man you “sized” them up to be, they’ll appreciate your breaking the ice for them. One other thing to understand - women are almost always “looking for” men while most men are where they are, doing what they are doing, for any one of a million different reasons.

In essence, you meet eligible men by frequenting the places you’re most-likely to find the kind of man you want to meet. You have to make yourself available. Then too, if you spot a man you think might be one that you’d like to get to know better and he doesn’t make the first move towards the two of you becoming acquainted, you should make that first move.

It’s as simple as that. In most instances, the same fear and shyness - maybe even embarrassment - you’re feeling, is haunting the man, and unless one of you makes that first move, another opportunity will have slipped through your fingers. Don’t be afraid to walk right up to a man and tell him: You look as though you’re all alone - do you want to talk for a minute or two…

We know of some women looking for men, perhaps because of an inability to just walk up to a man and start talking or maybe just because they have a flair for innovative approaches to the idea, have had business cards printed up, and hand them out to the men they see that look interesting to them. The wording on the one that most appealed to us was as follows: Hello there.

Please forgive my intrusion, but you strike me as someone I should know. My name is Mary Anderson, and if you’ve got a spare minute or two, you might give me a call at 123-4567…

You’ve got to have it firmly in your mind, the kind of man you want to meet. Then you’ve got to make yourself available in the kind of places that kind of man is most-likely to frequent.

Most assuredly, when you search for such a man, you should look, dress, and act according to what you feel will most appeal to that type of man. All men notice a woman who looks good, so you should do whatever is necessary to bring out your best features - a little make-up in the right places, a new hairstyle, a few figure-flattering clothes - and the kind of conduct that you feel will appeal to your kind of man.

Now then, the easiest and surest way of meeting eligible men is through the social activities of your local “singles” club such as Parents Without Partners, Singles International, and Servetus. Most such groups sponsor regular dances, dinner parties, rap sessions, and any number of other activities designed to bring divorced and/or single people together.

Lonely Hearts Correspondence Clubs are okay, but then.. meeting someone via correspondence, and learning to love them as result of what they write in their letters to you, is sometimes disappointing and a hard situation to get out of when you finally do meet them face-to-face.

Most of the Date-A-Mate services are okay, particularly those that employ video tape interviews, but the prices you pay for their introductions are beyond reason. Generally, the success rate of these services - that of matching you with a man that you end marrying, and staying married to him - is less than 10-percent. Some of them are just glorified “dating or escort” services.

Attending church in search of an eligible man sometimes works out, especially if the church sponsors dances, parties and group outings. However, there’s not as many eligible men going to church in search of eligible women these days as there used to be.

If you have an outgoing personality and enjoy the whole scene, you can generally find lots of eligible men in the bars and taverns. The thing is, you have to “find” the bars or taverns that are frequented by the age group and kind of men that meet your needs.

You’ll find a lot of “more financially secure” men in the better “motor inn” and hotel bars. About all you have to do is drop by and join in all the action when there’s a convention or gathering of people from out of town in one of these places.

It’s then that you’ll find many of the “local eligibles” out on the town, plus of course a lot of men from out of town who are looking for women. In this kind of situation, most of the man will make the first move and once you become acquainted, they won’t be in any big hurry to make any real commitments.

To find the action - where there’s sure to be lots of eligible men - look in your local newspaper… Look for advertisements announcing square dances, neighborhood picnics, travel tours, and of course, festivals or similar special events. When you go to one of these activities, you’ve got to mingle with the people there, keep your eyes open for a man that may be the one you’re looking for, and then - do your thing to become acquainted with him. Once you spot a man you’d like to become acquainted with, it’s basically all up to you whether you do or don’t.

Another one of the surest places of meeting eligible men is in the evening classes at your local colleges. If you’re not familiar with their services, just give the college office a call and ask them to put you on their mailing list for bulletins and notices of up-coming classes being offered.

Most colleges are now offering any number of seminars, classes and even short courses designed to help people rebuilding their lives after a divorce. These classes are always well-attended, and those that attend are eligible. One of the best ways of meeting new friends while improving yourself.

Finally, and by all means, enlist the help of your friend and co-workers in helping you to meet new men. Tell them you’ll be happy to come to their parties if they’ll invite some of the eligible men they or their friends know. And then, you should have few parties, invite your friends and ask them to bring along or invite some of their unattached male friends.

Work is generally an easy place to become acquainted with eligible men, but there are any number of risks involved - such as those that are already married. The important thing is to make your self available - know what kind of man you want - and then do what is necessary to meet him.

G-spot and Female Sexual Response

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

This article will teach you all about how women respond to sexual situations and some topics about the G-Spot. A part where you can stimulate it to give your partner quicker orgasm.

Female Sexual Response

The famous sex researchers, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, were the first to outline the four stages of sexual response in human beings. These stages apply to both men and women, but each gender experiences the stages differently. Men typically race through the stages faster than women do, but that’s only on average.

In some situations, women may be ready for orgasm much faster than a man. We’ll look at each of the stages as they occur in women and we’ll tell you what signs to watch for so you’ll be able to determine when your partner is ready for the next stage.

Stage 1 - Excitement

* This is one of the easiest stages to reach for both men and women. A woman can become excited just by smelling your cologne or having your hand brush against her breasts. She can become excited by fantasizing about sexual encounters or by flirting with you during dinner. In fact, during the average date, women may become excited ten to fifteen times. Most of those times do not lead to the next level, however.

* The female body responds to this stage in very specific ways. Let’s go through some of those physical signs of excitement:

* Her nipples become erect

* Her vagina starts becoming lubricated

* Her clitoris begins to swell and grow larger

* The inner parts of her vagina begin to expand

* Her breasts may even increase in size if she becomes highly aroused

* These are not the only physical signs, but these are probably the ones you or her may notice. Notice that during this early stage, her vagina is already becoming lubricated. Many men have the mistaken notion that this is a sign that a woman is ready to engage in intercourse. That is not the case. A lubricated vagina only means a woman is aroused. All of these signs do suggest, however, that her body is preparing for the possibility of sex.

* Stage 2 - Plateau

* This second stage does not occur as frequently as the arousal or excitement stage. In fact, most incidents of arousal never reach this level. So when does a woman reach this level? Well, she will require more physical stimulation. Foreplay, for example, will help her move to this stage, so does increased fantasizing.

During this stage, sexual tension inside her body is growing.

* This stage is also accompanied by more physical signs. A few of those signs are listed below:

* Breasts may increase noticeably in size

* The vagina swells and the vaginal opening begins to narrow

* The clitoris becomes more erect

* Her heart beat may increase noticeably

* The color of the labia minora will change from pink to either red or wine-color

* This final physical sign is very important. Researchers have found that if the color-change does not occur, then women rarely have an orgasm.

* About one-half to three-fourths of women also experience what is termed a “sex flush” on parts of their body. The increased blood flow to the skin sometimes gives the appearance of a flush over the chest or other parts of the body.

* During the plateau stage, the woman’s body is becoming ready for intercourse. Only near the end of this stage is she physically ready for vaginal intercourse.

* Stage 3 - Orgasm

* All of those women who fake their orgasms end up continually jumping from the second to the fourth stage of sexual response. After her body is truly ready for intercourse and if she is receiving the proper stimulation - usually clitoral - then it does not take long for her to reach the third stage.

* Below are some of the physical effects your partner will experience during this stage. Some of these should be noticeable by you and a couple are impossible for her to fake, so if you really want to know whether you are making her climax or not you just need to pay attention to the physical signs.

* Muscle contractions - Intense muscle contractions through the pelvic area will occur during the orgasm. A woman can have three to fifteen of these contractions depending on the strength of her orgasm. She may also experience muscle contractions in other parts of the body as well.

* Most women’s bodies become temporarily rigid at the highest point of their orgasm. This lasts for only a moment, but its something you may notice.

* The “sex flush” is another indicator of orgasm. At this stage, it becomes brighter and more noticeable. It may also have spread to other areas of her body.

* Another tell-tale sign of orgasm in some women is ejaculation. Some women do ejaculate after an orgasm.

* Although you won’t be able to see this, an orgasm can be detected by looking at a woman’s brain wave patterns. There is a clear difference.

* Stage 4 - Resolution

* This is an interesting stage because what happens during it depends on what did not happen before or what is continuing to happen. For example, if a woman does successfully complete the third stage then she may be able to have multiple orgasms.

We’ll talk about that more a little later in this article.

* If a woman does not have an orgasm, then her body will begin to return to normal but it will take longer. Many women report physical discomfort in the pelvic area during this process.

* You should also keep in mind that after an orgasm a woman’s breasts and nipples will be incredibly sensitive. In fact, they can be so sensitive that touching them is uncomfortable for her.

* After the last orgasm, the “sex flush” will disappear. * Also, your partner may experience heavy sweating, rapid heart beating, and/or heavy breathing.

* The resolution stage marks the end of the cycle for women.

* Multiple Orgasms & Sexual Response Cycle

* Multiple orgasms do happen in women. In fact, they are more common than researchers initially believed. Any time a woman has an orgasm she is capable of having a repeat if the right stimulation continues.

* What’s interesting about multiple orgasms in women is that they do not have to repeat the entire cycle to gain another orgasm. Once they are in the area between the third and fourth stages, their bodies are highly orgasmic.
