Top World Leaders Working Together To Destroy America

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

The world is firmly in the hands of the evil Illuminati under Vatican and Jesuit control and here are a few examples illustrating the problem facing freedom fighters in America.

First, it must be understood the New World Order leaders around the world are a tight-knit group, working together to foster war in the Middle East, leading to its destruction as well as the destruction of Israel and the United States.

To accomplish this endgame of a one world religion based in Jerusalem and a world one government under a fascist/communist network of so-called independent states, it is important that the Vatican have all the major world leaders appear to be on different sides of the fence when, in fact, they are deceptively working together to bring about the Illuminati’s goal of a world consisting of a commonwealth of independent (fascist) states.

In fact for freedom in America to survive, Americans need to view the world completely different than what’s told to them in history books and on major television networks. Americans need to first understand they are being deceived and have been deceived for a long time.

But looking on the bright side, it’s never to late to find the truth and the truth is all the major leaders of the world’s governments and religions are on the same evil New World Order team with their eventual goal to destroy freedom in America.

And unless Americans realize this now and fight back in every way possible, they will sadly realize it late when unfortunately it will be too late, as those people left after America’s population is greatly reduced by New World Order violence will wake up in a completely different America, an America draped in chains and fascism which is, by the way, the Vatican’s government of choice.

So, the first step is to realize that Satanic leaders like Bush, Putin, Blair, Chavez and others in the Middle East, China, Japan and North Korea are all working together to instigate war and violence, necessary for the New World plan of total control to succeed.

They, of course, put on a completely different show but that is the Vatican and Jesuit plan during this time in history which should be labeled the age of deception, especially in America.

Furthermore, it has been that way for a long time in other countries around the world, but now it is just America’s turn to deal with the Vatican and Jesuit deception head on.

Besides most all governments and religions of the world already being corrupted by the satanic power emanating from the Vatican, the deceivers hiding behind the name of God use a worldwide web of Masonic Lodges to front the New World Order objectives and plans.

Listen how an Italian insider and former higher-up in the Illuminati in the Monte Carlo P2 Lodge explains how the Masonic web of Vatican deception exists in China, Russia, the Middle East and North Korea.

“Ezio Giunchiglia of Italy has been working for C.A.M.E.N (Centro Applicazioni Militari Energia Nucleare ) in Pisa since 1964 and has been working for this delicate department of the Illuminati dedicated to the nuclear game for along time.

“That’s why he has been chosen as the point man for the signing of a mega contract for the construction of five nuclear plants in China., working together with Itaian P2 Masonic members.

“The P2 has also numerous business projects in Shanghai, being the Chinese headquarters for the Mafia and other Illuminati projects . In Shanghai the Russians and the Italians working for the USA Illuminati and the Vatican , are making a lot of big deals at the moment, recycling black money and using it for their benefit.

“The plan, as I know it from discussions in the Monte Carlo Lodge, is to abandon the USA at one point when America falls while establishing a worldwide Chinese Illuminati Nazi-Communistic style as the only possibility.

“I know for a fact Ezio Giunchiglia said that America is finished to me many times and we should go and establish our wealth elsewhere as the Illuminati will always prevail by having the Vatican backing . That’s why Italy recently sent a special group of Illuminati politicians including the Prime Minister recently to China.

“Russia, as we know since I spent a lot of time there, is all under Illuminati control and three new Freemason Grand Lodges directly controlled by the Illuminati have been established in India in the last 2 years.

“India is looked at by the Illuminati as being an important new business opportunity when America eventually is rendered helpless in all facets, including financial. As I learned, the stage is already set up for the death of an Empire, the great U.S. of A.

“And it should be noted that North Korea deals directly with the Duke of Cabinda, alias Rui Gabirro and alias Robert Lamar or alias whatever his name his…Satan! What we need is to get the American people to rebel in the name of true freedom before it is too late and we all become like China, a nation of Communist infidels!”

Finding Love on the Internet in Midlife

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

Single women in midlife are often interested in getting back in the dating game, but they don’t know how to go about it. After years or even decades of marriages that ended in divorce or the death of a spouse, how do women in their 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s meet men these days?

An increasingly popular-and successful-way is through Internet dating. Judsen Culbreth, author of The Boomers? Guide to Online Dating (Rodale, 2005), answers FAQs about finding love online:

Why is online dating a good choice for single women in midlife?

First, mature daters are the big growth industry, and men are more likely to be online than women. Men like technology, and they feel that online dating is a logical choice. It’s a great way to screen candidates. Everyone is a prequalified prospect; they’ve said, I want to date. Where else can you go to get applications for a relationship? People disclose things they would never say in a bar. It’s more of a sure shot. And it’s a less stressful way to meet people. If you don’t like someone, you don’t have to go there.

What would you say to women who are reluctant to try it?

Some are hesitant because they’re still waiting for Prince Charming to show up. They want meeting someone to be fate. That’s likely to happen when you’re young-in high school and college or just out of college-because everyone is single and you mix and mingle all the time. As you get older, most of your friends are married and it’s much harder to meet available men. That’s why more and more women 35 and older are trying online dating sites. It’s a simple and effective way to meet people.

Do you advise women to post their profile on a variety of sites or choose one and stay with it?

Just as you’d go to a department store if you needed a lot of items, and to a boutique for that one special thing, you should visit a variety of Internet dating sites. Try some of the big ones, like Match.com and Matchmaker.com. These have millions of users so you can get a lot of what you want-geography, income, personal habits. There are so many people using them that you’re more likely to find someone. And if you have something specific that’s important to you, like religion or ethnicity, go to one of those sites. Do both; it’s so cheap, a subscription is less than one night out on a date.

What are some tips for creating a good profile?

A positive attitude is very important. Midlife daters want honesty, warmth, and shared activities. We’re heading into the best years of our lives-we’re more likely to be financially secure and have free time. We want people who are fun to be with. Avoid the pitfall of asking for too much. At this stage, you’re just trying to meet someone-don’t list every quality a person must have. Talk about yourself. This can be hard for women in midlife because we have so many roles, but this is about you, not your family or your past relationships. And do post a photo. If you don’t, it’s a red flag.

How computer savvy do you have to be to use Internet dating?

If you can e-mail and get on the Internet, you can date online. If you can’t post a photo, many sites will help you. And there are helplines for any questions or problems you may have. Dating sites make it as easy as possible to use them.

Visit some Internet dating sites, and see if they might be something you’d like to try. Whether you’re looking for a committed partner, a husband, or just someone to go to the movies with, you may well find him online.

Heart Protection with Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Omega-3 Fatty Acids have been getting a lot of attention lately in the news, the scientific community and doctor’s offices around the world. But what are they? And why have they become the next big thing in heart health?

While the term “fatty” seems negative, Omega-3 fatty acids actually provide “good” fats which help support the health of the cardiovascular system, maintain triglyceride and cholesterol levels and, according to the Food and Drug Administration, possibly reduce the risk of coronary heart disease in men. In addition, they assist in promoting a healthy brain function, controlling mood levels and supporting healthy joints and muscular mobility.

Several studies show that international populations whose diets consist of large amounts of foods high in Omega-3 fatty acids have lesser instances of heart disease and cholesterol problems. The Mediterranean diet in particular relies heavily on many servings of fish, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables, and uses very little red meat and saturated fats. This diet has been associated with lower levels of cholesterol and healthy heart function. European doctors are so impressed with the effects of Omega-3 fatty acids that Omega-3-rich foods and supplements are often recommended to patients suffering or recovering from cardiovascular problems.

Fish oil capsules and Omega-3 supplements may not be regularly prescribed by American doctors yet, but many medical sources recognize that people who maintain a healthy, well-balanced diet consisting of many servings of fruit, vegetables and fish such as salmon, trout and mackerel have stronger, healthier hearts and better health overall. Even the American Heart Association recommends that people consume foods rich in Omega-3 such as fatty fish (mackerel, tuna, etc.) at least twice a week.

Unfortunately, men’s busy schedules often leave little time to prepare or consume meals high in Omega-3 fatty acids. Add to that the fact that some fish available to consumers does not contain the high levels of Omega-3 due to being farm raised. To insure you’re receiving the necessary Omega-3 fatty acids from a pure source, consider adding a daily supplement containing high concentrations of Omega-3.

Look for supplements that contain pharmaceutical-grade ingredients that provide the best ratio of EPA/DHA and are carefully distilled to remove all hazardous PCB, toxins and mercury particles. A balanced diet high in Omega-3 fatty acids and regular exercise today can mean a healthy heart for years to come.

The Negatives Associated with Companies that Offer Lifetime Hosting Plans

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Yes, I pay a set amount each and every month for my hosting and some of the additional services cost extra but these companies that offer Lifetime Hosting sound like a great money saver. What I don’t understand is where is their incentive to perform each and every month. What if I pay this $100 plus fee and they just shut their company down and I can never find them again.

What about the fact that all they have is a sales page? Nothing deeper than that sales page, no support page, no FAQ page, nothing, nada, zip. With my present host, one of the things that I like, is whenever I call them there is somebody there to answer my call. Their support can be the ticket system, live chat, or phone support which is the one I prefer when I want an answer right then and there.

Just recently, I bought a software product via the WWW using my credit card. The software never came so I disputed the charge. After a month my credit card company sent me an email saying that they found in favor of the merchant because the sale was an intangible product and that I knew the risk before purchasing. So now I am out my $43 what happens when the hosting company takes off with my $100 plus, if I find them will I be able to get my money back?

I try to never buy a product where there is only a sales pages. Sites that don’t have an email address or a phone number very rarely will get my business. I especially hate it when you do a Whois lookup and the registrar comes up as private or a bogus name and info.

I also see that these companies offering lifetime hosting usually offer great disk space and I’ve even seen some of unlimited bandwidth but 2 problems I see here is what if you need more space then what they give you and how many sites out there in the world are using any descent amount of bandwidth. I have 20 different sites and even though it is unfortunate but only 1 of them will ever exceed the use of more than 1Gig of bandwidth. What do I need unlimited bandwidht for?

How To Escape An Abusive Husband

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

There are many important things you should do if you are an abuse victim preparing to leave your spouse. These include: making copies of important records, papers, and bills; putting these records, some cash, and extra clothes in a safe place or a trusted friend’s house; and leaving when you must. If you can, start your own bank account. Get credit cards in your own name.

If the threat of physical violence is imminent escape with your children as soon as you can.

In such a situation, have an escape plan. Figure out what room in your house is most secure, and has a reasonable exit to the outside. Be prepared to give in to verbal demands in order to buy time. Once you have determined that the moment has come, go immediately. If you see a dangerous situation arising, do whatever you must (short of increasing the physical danger to yourself or your children) to create an opportunity for escape.

Once you are away from the home, go to the nearest shelter, or to the home of someone you trust. Also consider whether your spouse will follow, and if so, where he is likely to look.

Using the Legal System to Escape an Abuser

As I noted above, often a divorce action provokes an abuser. His violence may escalate. Protective or restraining orders can help, but they can also further infuriate the abusive spouse. Law enforcement can’t protect a victim or children around the clock. This is something you should discuss with your attorney.

Remember, when you ask for a protective or restraining order against your spouse, the judge will want as much evidence as possible. Document erratic behavior and any violent actions starting now. You can do this by writing everything down, or keeping a computer file, but be sure it is safe from discovery. Try to recall each detail. Ideally such records should be moved to wherever you are keeping your important papers in case of escape. One way to keep things written down, and retrievable from anywhere, is web based email, such as yahoo or hotmail, as long as you make sure the password is secure, and that you log off whenever you are finished. You can write things and save them as a draft, and there is no risk of losing the hard drive if you have to leave in a hurry. Call others as soon as possible after an incident, and have them keep a record of it. If you have bruises, show them to others, and ask them to make a written note of what they’ve seen. Keep the paperwork on hospital visits. If you have made any 911 calls, get the tapes of them. Your attorney will need as much evidence as possible.

If you are representing yourself in a motion for a restraining order, and you have such proof, let the evidence speak for itself. There is nothing wrong with expressing your fears, but do not say more than you have to against your spouse. If there are witnesses to violence, and/or solid physical evidence (cuts, bruises, broken items), these will be the most convincing factors. Most judges will be impressed more by a victim who simply states the need for protection and then presents compelling evidence. If you have a lawyer, but still have to testify, do so without anger. Present yourself as a victim of deranged behavior, and in need of a sane, sensible solution. Concentrate on the violence of the abuse, rather than on the abuser.

Judges seek to be referees in divorce disputes, not favoring either side. A judge will often resent being manipulated into issuing a restraining order early in the proceedings, especially if the victim later uses it as evidence in the divorce trial. Show that your concerns are only for the safety of yourself and those around you. Demonstrate that the order will be a useful tool in cooling things down and producing a just settlement.

Another issue that will concern a judge is the children. Judges are prone to try to sustain contact between parents and children. If your children are subject to abuse, then any protective or restraining order should apply to them. If the abuse is not aimed at them, and you intend to allow your spouse any contact with the children, discuss this with your lawyer. Often a restraining order can be limited in a way that is designed to defuse the anger of the abuser.

There are also other options to protective and restraining orders. In most states, a party in a divorce action can ask that a no-contact order be a condition of the divorce proceedings. However, these usually expire with the final decree.

Settlements

The extent of abuse, and the potential for further abuse, should be the most important factors in any settlement. If there is an obvious threat of further abuse to a spouse and/or children, the contact should be limited or completely cut off. The safety of the victims must be the basis for settlement.

If the abuse is confined to the spouse, and isn’t sustained or life threatening, a judge will often arrange for visitation rights with the children. If this is the case, make sure all conditions are met to ensure your own safety when exchanging children for a visit. Judges sometimes draw up conditions for these exchanges that include third parties (trusted friends or family members), performing the exchange in a public place, or other security measures.

The Classic Beauty of Pearl

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Pearls have long been considered a traditional and elegant form of adornment. They have taken center stage in artwork, photographs, and fashion over the centuries and have set the standard for beauty and refinement. The luster and understated grace of the pearl is legendary.

Pearls of the Past

Pearls are naturally occurring and thus have been used in cosmetics and jewelry for thousands of years. The oldest piece of pearl jewelry found to date was in the sarcophagus of a young Persian princess dating around 520 BC, and for much of their long history, pearls have been considered the most valuable of the gemstones. Yesterday and today, they are greatly admired for their flawless beauty.

Over time, pearls have been used in a variety of fashions. While the earliest use of pearls was as simple jewelry and adornment, new uses for pearls have been created. Beginning in the 13th and 14th century, pearls made a leap from basic jewelry to fashion accessory. Both men and women used pearls as decorations on their clothing, and the use of pearls in this manner was a blatant statement of wealth.

In the Americas, natives began harvesting pearls, and the uses spread further. Pearl pendants and earrings were worn by both genders, and pearls also became adornments on clothing. Pearls were additionally used as a form of tribute, or money, and the shells of mussels that produced the pearls were commonly used as armbands and gaming pieces.

The Distinction of Pearls

In ancient Rome, only individuals of a certain noble distinction were allowed to wear pearls, as the gemstones were considered almost magical in their beauty. The same was true during the Renaissance period. Today, pearls have a similar context, and are often symbols of class and distinction.

Pearls are still considered elegant and symbolic by societies around the globe. Pearls are often seen at weddings to symbolize purity and innocence. In fact, in the Hindu religion, piercing an unblemished pearl is part of the marriage ceremony. Debutantes and brides are adorned with simple strands of pearls, while other fashionably elegant women and men demonstrate discriminating taste by accessorizing with pearls.

Jacqueline Kennedy, the wife of President John F. Kennedy, was well known for her style and decorum. She often used pearls to accessorize, and the simple strand became one of her trademarks. Women around the globe began to imitate Jackie’s effortless taste and classic lines, including the understated use of pearls.

Almost thirty years later, another First Lady brought back the timeless elegance of the pearl, Barbara Bush. Mrs. Bush was almost never without her strand of pearls, and again, it became a symbol of her distinction and taste.

Pearl jewelry is classic in nature, and elegant in design. The use of pearl accessories bespeaks a certain merit of class and exquisite taste. To see a woman adorned in the perfection of pearls is to see the true radiance of her splendor.

Roommate Advertisements - How To Write The Perfect Ad

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Are you staring at a blank page, trying to write your roommate advertisement? You’re not the only one. It can be hard to get started when you’re not used to writing advertisements and aren’t sure where to begin.

You can create a well-written advertisement by designing a work environment that gets your creative juices flowing. This means setting aside time especially to write your advertisement and creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere where you won’t be disturbed. A relaxed atmosphere without any outside pressures will help your thoughts flow more easily when you have a mental block or are unsure what to write.

So, if you don’t know where to start and keep looking at a blank piece of paper, how do you write the perfect roommate advertisement? By following some simple guidelines, you’ll soon be able to put pen to paper and create an advertisement that lets you find the right roommate for you.

1. Create Your Perfect Roommate Recipe

Before you start writing you should decide which qualities your perfect roommate should possess. You can use the mental image of your perfect roommate to help you write an advertisement that attracts the right person.

2. Decide On Your Advertisement Content

You will need to decide which information you would like to give out in your advertisement. It’s a good idea to write down this information as it can act as a checklist when creating your roommate listing. Your advertisement needs to include the rent and bond/security deposit, your perfect roommate ingredients, local amenities as well as information about your home and where it is located.

3. Write Your Advertisement

The checklist you created when you decided which information you would like to include in your listing forms the base of your advertisement. When writing your first advertisement you may wish to have a look at roommate advertisements written by other people.

4. Proof Read Your Advertisement

After you have finished writing your listing you should check it for spelling, grammar, punctuation and accuracy of information. You should also make sure your advertisement has a positive tone.

5. Revise Your Advertisement

It’s important to read your advertisement after you have made any grammatical changes. Reading your advertisement lets you make sure that it flows smoothly, has correct grammar and obtains all of the necessary information.

6. Ask For A Second Opinion

You may wish to ask a friend or another roommate to read your advertisement to find out their opinion. They may pick up spelling mistakes or if a piece of information is missing from the advertisement.

7. Revise Your Advertisement As Necessary

After your advertisement is read by another person you may wish to revise and make changes to your listing. There’s no limit to how many times you make changes as long as you are happy with the final outcome.

These 7 steps help stimulate your mind and let you concentrate on the task at hand. They give you a starting point and a path to follow so that you can build your own roommate advertisement to help you attract the right roommate. Once you have followed these steps you’ll no longer be staring at a blank piece of paper but well on the way to finding the perfect roommate for you.

Good Luck and Happy Roommate Hunting!

How To Negotiate A Starting Salary For A New Job

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

When you are looking for a new job, advice on how to evaluate and negotiate an appropriate starting salary is invaluable. We’ve teamed up with acclaimed salary negotiation expert and author, Jack Chapman, to bring you practical advice on negotiating a proper starting salary.

Five simple starting salary rules:

Rule #1) Postpone talking about starting salary until there’s an offer on the table
Rule #2) Let the other person name a figure first
Rule #3) Repeat their starting salary offer and be quiet
Rule #4) Share your researched starting salary range and establish your individual value
Rule #5) Clinch the deal and deal some more

Starting Salary Rule #1 - When to Discuss Starting Salary

There’s not much point in discussing starting salary unless you’re sure you’re going to get an offer, make sense? But more than that, it’s not to your advantage to talk about your starting salary. When an employer asks “what are your salary requirements?” or “what are you currently earning?” they are gathering information on your likely expectations. There are maybe two or three right answers to this question and more than 20 wrong ones. Too high and you’re screened out, too low and you’ll lose money in the initial offer, or you’ll be eliminated as under-qualified based on your low salary requirements.

The proper time to discuss your starting salary is after the job position has been defined and you are sure the employer understands what you are bringing to the table.

Until then, a good postponing phrase would be, “All I’ll require is a competitive salary. I will likely be using PayScale and other resources to help determine that — as I presume you will, too. So I’m confident the starting salary will take care of itself, if I’m the right person for the job.”

Starting Salary Rule #2 - Who Goes First

When they’re ready to make an offer, here’s a second piece of timing advice: don’t haul out your research too soon! When it comes to discussing your starting salary, let the employer go first. That way you have a firm starting point that you can be assured of, when it is your turn. Generally, you’ll want to bump the starting salary up 5-10% or more. But, in the worst case scenario, if they go first, you certainly won’t get less than their initial offer. Additionally, there is always the chance that they will exceed the starting salary figure you were planning to mention.

NOW do you show your salary research? NO…. Not yet.

Starting Salary Rule #3 - Repeat The Offer And Be Quiet

Once they go first, you respond by repeating their starting salary offer and remaining silent. If they have given you a low-ball offer, and they know it, now is the time for them to increase their offer. Okay, I’ve heard the offer, I’ve greeted it with silence, now do I get to use my salary report?

Maybe…

Starting Salary Rule #4 - Share Your Researched Range and Establish Your Individual Value

If you are reading this article, you have probably done some research about what your salary should be. If you haven’t or want more accurate and reliable salary information, complete our brief salary survey to determine what the average salary and salary range is for your new position.

Now that you have the salary information necessary for negotiating, I want you to learn the value of having PayScale salary report in hand. The best way to leverage a PayScale salary report for a successful negotiation is to set your own expectations about how you will use your report. Know what information your report contains, and especially know what the data represents - what is behind the numbers - before taking it to the boss or a potential employer.

When you compared your research with your offer, you were either under market, over market, or right in the range. If your salary research indicates that the offer is below the range for your specific job and responsibilities, now is the time to share your research with the employer and discuss how the employer arrived at his/her estimates. Often you will find some points of disagreement on which to negotiate an increase.

Keep in mind that the employer will likely view compensation data differently than the employee. Two common points the employer may wish to discuss are the sources used to obtain the data in the report, and whether the data in the report matches your job profile, the company profile, and job location.

Finally, when a company wants to buy your time and effort, remember it’s a human being who makes the decision. It isn’t a cut and dried assessment; it’s a rational-emotive process that takes into account many factors that aren’t always fair or logical. Your awareness of these factors can greatly improve your chances for improving your salary.

Starting Salary Rule #5 - Clinch the Deal and Deal Some More

Finally, you receive a salary that you can live with and is fair. Do you sign it then? Well, yes and no. Yes, you now have a firm base to agree to, that you know you will be happy with. But, don’t stop! It is now time to put your attention on the other factors of the salary-equation gold mine.

What is it with makeup the fact is, if you’re female, then you maybe like makeup at some point in your life. It almost seems like the softer sex is drawn to the material. I watched my little girl get sucked into the makeup trends. At the tender age of five, she already wanted to paint her delicate little face with eye shadow and blush. Yikes, what’s with kids these days they want to grow up so fast My wife and I were shocked when our little lady came strolling into the living room with full-on makeup, which was applied way too think by the way. You’ve got to love the youngsters and their attempt at being grown up. However, let’s save the infinite makeup trends for the older girls. At least let them get to sixteen first. Speaking of makeup trends, are you up to speed on the latest?

These days makeup is as prominent as ever. Although a few women out there refuse to conform, millions of others can’t live without it. Have you ever seen those hardcore makeup users on the talk shows they actually wear their makeup to bed. Some will not even let their husbands see what they look like without makeup on. That’s nuts! Can you imagine never even seeing what your spouse truly looks like? Regardless of the ardent makeup users, there are infinite others who enjoy the glamour of makeup trends. While a heavy layer of foundation and blush used to be all the rage back in the 80s, these days less is more. That good old natural beauty is in full demand. Sure, you can slap on a little makeup, but don’t go crazy ladies. It’s ideal to hold a more natural look with just a little makeup to accent your features. Caking it on will only get you insulting glares from other women.

When it comes to makeup trends, I have to admit that I like to see what a girl truly looks like. Sure, makeup can look nice if applied in moderation; however, too much may be hiding your natural beauty. It is typically expected for high school level girls to pile on the paint, but once you’ve hit your twenties, you may want to adopt some new and more conservative makeup rends. It’s time to flaunt that natural beauty that you were born with. If you’re not up to speed on the latest makeup trends, the Internet will surely provide you with a vast spectrum of solutions to all your makeup questions.

Andrew Jalbert’s novel, West Across the Board, chronicles one man’s journey back to the Florida Keys to see his dying friend. For both men, it is a journey of lifetime reflection and liberation. In 1934, at a saloon in the Florida Keys, Lazaro, a passionate and brilliant fisherman, meets Dominic, a civil engineer graduate. The two young men instantly bond over a game of chess. The game would become more than recreation. It would become the cement that binds the two through a lifetime of love, loss, forgiveness, and redemption.

With such themes as the beauty and danger of nature entwining itself with the strength and frailties of human nature, a story of growth and survival unfolds. Drawing on Physicists research into the Chaos Theory, Dominic, a pragmatist, tries to find order from tragic events that affected the choices both he and Lazaro made. Lazaro, a man forever changed from the loss of his father during a storm at sea, reflects on his life in a more traditional sense. Dominic tries to find a logical pattern of events, while Lazaro buries his need to resolve issues that led to his choice to leave the Florida Keys for a life in Wisconsin. It is only when the two men come together that Lazaro is able to confront his past.

As historical fiction, the author delivers a carefully crafted and detailed account of life on the Florida Keys. The story is rich in the sights, sounds, and description of life in the 1930’s. Drawing on real events from the past, the fictional story is well implemented within its historical context. The historical and nautical details illustrated within the story are well researched and accurately presented.

West Across the Board delivers a well crafted tale of two men’s journey back together to find redemption and peace. The history and backdrop of the Florida Keys makes readers feel they are accompanying Lazaro on his journey. I highly recommend the book to readers who enjoy well written historical fiction that delves into the human condition.
